PTCL bill and Taxes

Basically I want to ask here if anyone has past experience with the taxes on ptcl.

Is there any way to minimize the amount of bill by reducing the tax amount on it.

is it possible that if i register the phone line in the name of the filler person then automatically the with holding tax becomes 0 Rs. (Like with the bank transactions).
I know even if the WH tax comes in the bill, the person can claim that in the tax filling for that year but it would be great if the WH gets auto deducted.

And any other discounts can be availed on thier service for any type e.g student, government employees, defence personel etc.

That's an interesting topic you shared there. Maybe some Lawyer can shed light on this.

As for the taxes, ptcl charges approximately 30% of taxes on your total bill.

I would suggest you guys to get rid of PTCL, it is expensive and often chokes during peak timings. Also pings are horrible. This is coming from a person who has been using PTCL for 11 years.

someone told me we can get back the all utility bill taxes if we are paying income tax through our major business. He want me to collect all previous electricity and PTCL bills. I dont know the whole procedure but I believe it is possible.

there is no ADVANCE INCOME TAX on electricity but one internet there is one. Against which a filler can claim credit

There is 7.5% Withholding Tax on Electricity too if your Electric bill exceeds 75,000 per month, which can be adjusted in the Return.

How does the process of claiming withholding tax in the annual tax filing work, and are there any benefits to having it automatically deducted from the bill?

Just ask your income tax lawyer to file it it your return
You can deduct this amount from the income tax you pay annually
