Can anyone verify that this is the bill being received for 10 Mbps in Karachi?

Exactly what I was thinking. The charges of Voice and Smart TV are listed in the bill, on which tax is charged. Then a discount of 749 is given. The website clearly mentions Voice and Smart TV are free with this package. How can tax be charged on free services?

100MB/s is 7000/- rs with tax added.

I'm paying $39.99 (4000 rs) for 100MB/s including tax here.

Even so, I'm still happy that they're not charging 20,000 per month (old rates for PTCL 100 Mbps).

My total bill comes to between 6500 and 6700 per month for 100 Mbps internet, landline, Smart TV for 400, the shit SmartTV box installment which is 300 a month. Once the box installment is paid off (next month), the bill will be 300 rs lower, making it just over 6k, not bad to be honest.

I'll be removing SmartTV in the coming months too, so it'll be just under 6k then.
100 Mbps for less than 6k/month, no complaints from me.

Also, the website says 6500 for 100 Mbps, but for some reason they're charging me 5500 a month for it... so I'm just going to not mention it to them.... ever.

Depends on your carrier. Comcast and AT&T have 1TB caps but even that is old news, most of them have removed or increased them.

I use Fios, there's no cap, the only case where they have an issue is they'll send you a warning if you exceed 7TB a month.

But honestly, who the fuck is using 7TB a month especially at 100MB/s ? I don't know if that's even physically possible.

ps. You can bet your butt PTCL has some kind of cap too.

Well ptcl throttles your speed after some agressive downloading. But I have already shifted to wateen and never faced any such problem . I had downloaded 40 Xbox one games in a month on 20 MB connection with full speed utilisation

Actually it's the other way around. In the US they stream HD content and download steam games 24/7 without any restrictions. In Pakistan we have "Fair Usage Policies" attached to our pseudo-unlimited connections where you have a hard cap on the amount of data volume you can use in a month.

However the US isn't even the country we should be looking up to in this department. South Korea and Sweden are some countries with far better broadband speeds. The US is far behind because they have little competition between their major ISPs.

i was getting a bill of 3400 approx for the 10mb package. internet was working poorly and smart tv was of no use
so i went back to 4mb and removed the smart tv as well. so the total bill should be around 2400 now
