PS3 Invalid Input Error. Any Ideas?

Aslamualaikum,

As it is, Im playing my ps3 on a Sony Full Hd 32inch Screen, yet when I play games such as wipeout HD or unchartered, or
many others for that matter, the TV blanks out to flash the ''Invalid Input'' Error Onscreen.
I've tried to make it stop by doing what most say and reformatting the ps3's display settings, I've tinkered a little here and there but to no avail.
So, any of you have any Idea how to stop this problem? It really is very annoying.

Do tell if you ever paused the game n turned your tv off for a while. Cuz if i do that , i get the same error. I've stopped turning the tv off now :/

get a new better quality cable and make sure ur tv supports 1080p. i have a similar prob
