Should not have been repaired after YLOD since I need it to run LINUX , day and night.

Demand is 22k very slightly negotiable since the 60GB model :

- has backwards compatibility
- can run other operating systems
- has universal card readers

You can get the lens repaired from the market easily . The PS3 is in mint condition and has everything included in the package . Contact via PM if you're interested .

I'll buy a brand new slim for 28K when they release God of War....

But people this PS3 is purely for academic purposes so do offer some good concession.

I have a Rs.20,000 budget which I will reimburse from the CS department LUMS. Anything above that will be from my pocket.

I need the old one as I'll have access to multiports, RSX, SADC, etc. The project aims to explore the uses of the refurbished PS3 as a server ( for maybe multimedia, unicast, multicast, DB....) which should be available as cheap as $100-150 in bulk by then end of 2010.

I don't care if people give stupid offers for a 60gig console . But ask anybody , ask a pro , 60GB is the best Model in PS3 . Not even Slim can beat that . I offered you a very fair deal . But I can throw in a game in this price if you want . The choice is yours .
