Let me summarize Vita for you: PS4's Abuses will lead to ban
Vita WAS supposed to be an independent portable console. But because of Sony's high price blunder, and because people just preferd a free Angry Birds on a cell phone than a 34$ one on Vita, people didn't buy Vita. Sony did cut price, but it was too little too late. It is a lost cause. The only hope Sony is now clinging on to is PS4's remote play. I think I even read an interview of a Sony's representative saying it was a portable device meant for consumption of Playstation cloud content; not a gaming console, but a device to watch Sony's content on the go. They are even going to launch PS4-Vita bundle.
Vita would MAYBE have a few more AAA titles, but that's it. It would become a niche console for a handful of gamers and some pathetic indie developers (because there's not much money in Vita, good indie developers won't stick around for much).
I am not a Nintendo fan boy: I have never played on any Nintendo console before, but I know its games are not for me. If you like DS or 3DS games, buy the console, but don't waste your money on the soon-to-be-history Vita.
