[SOLVED] Power supply's fan making noise

Aoa my power supply's fan was making noise , it's not in warranty & I also know if I touch it's capacitors accidentally I'd get a high shock so anyway I opened my psu & disconnected the fan & underneath it took the sticker off & put three drops of machine oil & put the sticker back on & spined the fan for a while & put it back together but that didn't solve the problem so I thought replacing the fan would fix the issue I got a new fan of Xigmatek XSF-F1452 140MM Fan it was the same size & same voltage as of the stock psu's fan but it was a 3 pin fan while the psu's fan header was 2 pin & it wouldn't fit so I took it to a computer shop in Blue area & got the 2 pin connector cut off the old fan & got the 3 pin connector cut off the new & got the old 2 pin connector soldered onto the black & red wires of the new fan but now the issue is it's making this sound linked below , Anyone know how to fix it?

Can you try and stop the fan when the computer is working in order to find out if the sound is coming from the fan or something else inside the psu?

Hmm why didn't I thought of that before because when I bought the fan from Beegeek they tested it in front of me & no noise & when the technician @ Blue area did the job & ran the psu without the pc there was no noise so I'll try disconnecting the fan & try running the psu & see if the issue is still there & report back to you , btw if you have any solutions in mind give them to me & I doubt lubrication is needed for the new fan

No, lubricant won't work because there is already enough lubricant on the fan's shaft. There may be some component that's producing that harmonic noise.

Another solution you can try is that can you try to turn on your computer at some friend's house and check if you are getting the noise there as well?

That sound seems like vibration noise even if the fan doesn't make the sound itself, there could be a vibrational mode(a frequency of vibration that is amplified) by the casing of the PSU, Do you think by adding rubber washers to the psu's fan screws would fix this? & where can I buy rubber washers from?

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
