Port Forwarding with StormFiber

Hello Everyone! I have been trying to make a MW2 (IW4X) server for a few days. I tried creating a COD4 server before but that didn't work either. I can't open the port for some reason. My friend uses PTCL and he tried creating a server in IW4X and it worked easily. He didn't have to open any ports. I did some research and found some forums talking about this. My NAT type was set to 3 (strict) so I contacted StormFiber and they converted it to Type 2 (moderate). I tried creating a server but it still didn't work. I tried port forwarding and that didn't work either. Do I also need static IP for this? If anyone has similar experience with stormfiber, please let me know. Thanks :)

Stormfiber uses CGNAT and so you will need to purchase a static IP in order to get an open nat type. PTCL doesn't do such nonsense which imo is the only good thing about them.

Okay so I purchased the static IP but I am still unable to open any ports. And I wasn't able to create the server in COD MW2 either.

You need to verify multiple things
  1. Has your ISP actually processed request for static ip? if so, try restarting to verify if your IP doesn't change
  2. Make sure your OS isn't blocking any ports. Check firewall rules. Best way to know is to check resource manager in task manager and check the ports opened by server like COD MW2 server, they should not be blocked by firewall
  3. verify you have selected the correct IP while configuring port forwarding. I would recommend to set static IP to the pc where server will be created. So router will always give same internal IP to it.
  4. Last is to verify if people outside of your local network can actually see the server ports on your public ip. Most of game servers uses UDP ports which are hard to diagnose.
I would recommend to maybe fire up a simple web server which uses TCP port and port forward that and use website canyouseeme.org to verify if you ports are forwarded.

Other thing to note is that sometimes these ISPs like transworld, stromfiber, will require you to ask for special permission for port forwarding (server hosting). Verify if that's not the case in your area. Some of my friends on Transworld and stormfiber had to fill a form regarding why you need to forward ports.

So has anyone got the issue fixed yet?
I'm also using Stormfiber, have a static IP. Call their customer support 200+ times and they make my NAT type (Moderate), refuse making it (Open) due to security reasons. I tell them I accept all security risks, and they still refuse to make it (Open).
Is there any way I can make it Open by myself?
Game is call of duty warzone
Using Huawei router like the majority of people here.
I heard stormfiber has CG-NAT.
Isn't there any way that I can get port opened for my specific game all by myself?
I have all the TCP/UDP ports and DMZ enabled

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
