Great news Pokemon fans, Nintendo just announced that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are heading to the Nintendo 3DS this November 2014. It'll be launching worldwide

Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!
Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

i did and i had all pokedex to 252 was it or something with shinies and everything legit... days of hard work washed away when i connected it to my pokemon colleseum gamecube game via my gba sp and the fu**ing gamecube detected my gba sp cartridge as pirate and deleted the fu**ing save MOTHERFU**ER !

I totally understand how expressing such events of loss eases the pain, my friend. I can relate with this, being a Pakistani Pokemon Master. I too have lost several hundred of my precious shiny, legendary and EV trained babies thanks to the bullshit pirated GBA cartridges. I even remember bursting into tears this one night when I accidentally inserted my pirated Sapphire into a GBA that was switched on. If you've experienced it, that wipes the save. That was my greatest collection of Pokemon. I was in the 6th or 7th grade back then. I tried to order an orginal cassette several times from abroad but to no avail. Abba went to Malaysia this one time and bought me an Emerald and Fire Red. When he returned, wo bhii pirated theein. Abuses will lead to banHH YUU MARRAYSIAAA!

And about Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; SO SO excited! These might just force me to get a 3ds now. I've been on the verge ever since X and Y. The different Kyogre and Groudon on the cases look mostly the same though. Hope there's more to that element.

[h=2]Shiny Mega-Evolution awaits all players in Pokémon Alpha Ruby and Omega Sapphire[/h]



New mega-evolutions for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire include Mega Salamence, Mega Lopunny and Mega Altaria, as seen in this latest trailer for the game, launching Nov. 21 on Nintendo 3DS.


Additionally, once the game launches, players can get "an incredibly rare Shiny Beldum holding a Mega Stone," through an in-game distribution beginning on the launch date. Once evolved into Shiny Metagross, the Mega Stone allows a Mega Evolution into — wait for it — Shiny Mega Metagross (below).

Pikachu also shows up in five cosplay outfits — Rock Star, Pop Star, Ph.D, Belle and Libre, all with special moves.

[h=2]Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire new Mega-Evolutions, legendaries confirmed[/h]

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will feature legendary Pokémon Groudon and Kyogre in both their original and primal forms, as well as Rayquaza and three new Mega-Evolutions, The Pokémon Company International announced today.


Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza make up a Legendary trio first introduced in the original Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Groudon and Kyogre will have special "Primal Reversion" forms in which they gain exclusive abilities. Groudon can use the Desolate Land and Precipice Blades abilities, while Kyogre has Primordial Sea and Origin Pulse.




Pokémon Camerupt, Sharpedo and Gallade will all have Mega-Evolutions.


Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will also support the Pokémon Bank and Pokémon Global Link at launch. With the bank— a paid service with an annual charge — players can store extra Pokémon online. The Global Link, meanwhile, uses save data and gameplay progress from players to track stats and more.


Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launch for Nintendo 3DS Nov. 21. A demo of the game will be available for players to start their game early.
