Recently i have purchased i7 2600 with Intel DQ67 SW motherboard.

I am facing problem about my GPU GTX 660 is not detected by Motherboard. I tried another gpu fx quadro its running. When i use gtx 660 no display beeps.

Gpu is already tested on other devices is running. PCi express slot is fine of motherboard as quadro is running.

Specs of system are:
Intel Core i7 2600
4Gb ddr3 Ram
Samsung SSD 256 Gb
WB 500 Gb HDD
Two case fans
PSU thermaltake Smart SE 530 watt.

What is the exact problem ? Is power supply is under power or Bios is not upgraded ? or something else please help

Could be a PSU issue. thermaltake Smart SE series are known to be really bad so you should probably check it with another psu

Intel DQ67 are known to be bad with GPUs. Many people have reported such problems. Try BIOS update.
You PSU power is enough for this system if its in running condition ...

Thank you for reply. I have tried GPU with other boards as well 3rd gen board as well and ASUS P8Z77 board, i did not get any display.
Then i tried with my old Board in which it was working since 1 year. I got the display 100% ok working too.
My old board is ECS P45T-A with Core2Extreme qx960 processor and ddr2 memory.

Now i dont know what is the problem

The only reason that i can think of is UEFI.
The GTX 660 doesnt come with UEFI bios by default. And the systems 2nd gen and up have UEFI in 99% cases. So if your motherboard BIOS is set to UEFI boot and GPU doesnt support it u get no display...

M not a 100% but 80% that this might be the issue so what u can do is
Switch to legacy mode in BIOS of your newer MOBO instead of UEFI.
OR
Update GPU BIOS ( WARNING this is very risky in our country due to load shedding. Choose the exact model UEFI BIOS)

On my 2nd gen mobo UEFI boot is disabled from BIOS.
I think it is because problem with Integrated graphic clash with 660.
It is giving display on the boards which do not have internal graphic
