Playing C&C3 online - hamachi

I searched for this, and there is an old topic from 2007 in here about a program called hamachi.

It allows you to create a virtual server, it basically fools the game into thinking you are playing over a LAN network, but you're actually playing over the internet. Lots of people worldwide play with their buddies in other cities/neighborhoods using Hamachi.

Since a lot of PG members have C&C3, I think it'll be fun to organize a tournament. All we have to do is download hamachi, someone creates a server at a pre determined time, and the other player or player joins it using the IP address given to him by the server creator.

So who wants to get his ass kicked by me? :blah2:

I have created a PG server. Everyone join it!

Password: pgc&c3

It's like msn messenger. You can see when other members are online, and if they are, message them if they wanna play. Only requirement is both sides or all sides have the same version of the game (i think).

Well I got my ass kicked by Hasan twice today. We were about to play a 2v2 team battle before he disappeared, probably because his power went out.

I just cannot beat a Black Hand army. I have never beaten it, and I don't know how to counter their flamethrowers :/

Me and Hasan are looking for PG members who play KW to form a clan for online matches. Anyone up for it?

It is only 1.6 GB download, and after extraction it is 4 GB. It is standalone version of Kanes Wrath, which means you don't need C&C3 to play it. I don't know how the guy did it, but he did it.

Read the comments there if you don't believe me.

And there is no set timing of the server, it's on 24/7, if another player is online at the same time as you, just message him on hamachi and play.

i dont have CNC3 Tiberium Wars installed yet i am playing Kane's wrath. the procedure is very simple. you can download the whole zip file for it. wat it does is it creates 3 folders and puts in 1 .exe file. you just have to run the registry file and thats it.

Btw, I reinstalled hamachi so I lost control of that network I made earlier. We'll have to make a new network. Whoever is interested in playing, let me know and we can set up a match at a particular time.
