PIEAS Waiting List

Hello and Salam, I just needed some information regarding the waiting lists. Alhamdolillah, I have been selected GIKI and hopefully NUST, but made the waiting list of PIEAS. How does this waiting list thing work. My number in the waiting list is 215 but my waiting postion under Electrical department is 252 and under Mechanical is 215. Can someone kindly clarify this and tell me my chances of getting selected in the 2nd merit list? Thanks.

When people with higher merit than you don't opt for Pieas, you take their place, i.e waiting list.

120 people in total, for both Elec and Mech.

Oh, but isn't there a limit to how many students PIEAS selects about 140-160? because the 1st merit list contains 250 students.

i think they take almost 120 in each field. That's why they selected 250. You're in waiting list, that means you should simply wait...
