Phones system apps are crashing!

Last night my phone was working just fine. When I woke up in morning it was showing me problems when launch anything, whenever I launch anything error pops up "unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has crashed". Not only this but viber, outlook, whatsapp and GAPPS are automatically crashing I cant even install antivirus from play store.
Please help me fix the problem it is getting real annoying.... FAST,

What phone is it? If I'm not wrong, you've got an Xperia U, right?

Is it running a Custom ROM? If so, boot into CWM, Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache and then reboot.
If this doesn't solve it, you better have a backup, and just re-flash the ROM.

This never happened with my Xperia U.
Happened with my Galaxy Ace though.

Yes I have Xperia U, but its not on custom ROM its on stock! and I cant for some reason backup my contacts/sms..... what do I do to fix if I am using stock?

You can download stock firmware for it and flash it via flashtool pretty sure there are many guides for that... Been doing the same for my xperia p

Do what murtaza told you (Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache) if the problem still persist then find a flashable zip of your current ROM(if you don't have any backup) wipe Wipe Cache, wipe system and Dalvik Cache in your case you want to save your data so don't wipe data/Factory wipe, do these wipes from mount & storage after this Flash the ROM you will have all you data intact. Make a full backup before doing anything explained above.

Edit: Stock or no stock do you have a custom recovery installed ?

Is your phone rooted and do you have CWM or any recovery?
If no, then a simple factory reset will solve the problem.

If not, follow the steps that prohyper gave. That should definitely solve the problem.
