i just found out that speed test gives speed in kbits/sec i thought it was kbytes/sec... neway i know universities have an awesome net connnection... by bro gets a download speed of around 4-5 Megabyte/sec in NUS(National university of singapore) lolz..

I Get 35-50 Kb/s It Is Normal... But Only Maximum 10 Kb/s In Torrent
When Net Gets Mad.... I Get Around 90-122 Kb/s... I M Pretty Happy Wid My Connection..

Dancom. Actually i'm on a wifi network.

Its downloads are... well VERY fast. As you can see for yourself. Sometimes it gets a bit slow as well. But its more than enough for me. Plus there is no download limit.

Eat the GBs, if you like... @ 2mbps :wink2:

The network administrator (wifi) avoids the question.
Says the upload is Dancom's.
Download is SAT.

what is the difference between bits and bytes plz explain..
and well what is the fastest speed i can get via local service providers in Pakistan like Wateen and PTCL.. ?

so 256 kbps actually gives you arround 32 kBps of speed

256/8 == 32
