Today I noticed that my C drive (OS) was almost full so I deleted things from D and shrunk it to create space in C as my PC was getting slow.

After freeing some space in C I used the PC for about an hour. I turned it on after 3 hours or so and got this screen at startup.

After searching on other forums.... it is said that if you have any multiple hdd or ssd try removing all of the except the main one

Windows 8 Boot issue Error: 0xc000000f - Microsoft Community
Fix Boot Error 0xC000000F (An Error Occured While Attempting to Read the Boot Configuration Data) - FlashBoot and EBCD Articles
Using bootrec.exe to fix MBR in Windows 8 (Master Boot Record)

Try rebuilding the BCD IF you can't get the win cd as shown in the second link.....
Oh and check to see if your bios has a system restore or Drive recovery option.... some times it has them and it can help...

Try the repair function of windows, boot by CD as haroonsheikh said.
If that doesn't work you will have to reinstall.
