PC Pc games download question ... Help

Hello. Im about to swith from ps3 to pc and was wondering that since the power goes out after every hour.. How would i download (steam/origin)huge games in one hour i mean can we like pause the download and turn off and resume again like we can do with torrents etc we can do this with ps3 aswell when downloading games ... How do you manage to download 15+ Gb games with all this crappy loadshedding?

Yes bro you can pause and stop whenever you can on steam and origin

or get it from torrents and then get it working in origin (i am talking about clone DVDs)

Thank you for your reply.. Cud you please expalin a bit more how wud that work? Lets say i want to download bf3.. I download it through torrent and use a legit game key durin installation.. Thats it? But i heard tht to play online i need origin aswell.. So how would i lik sync it with origin to play onlone?. Hope u understand.. Thanks

DVDs r used for installation .. if u have clone DVDs .. u will start setup on DVD .. origin (if installed) pop up .. u login with ur account where u have BF3 activated (if not before time of installation) then do it now .. and then setup will start copying files from DVD exactly like it is downloading from internet thru origin .. keep it going .. it take time approx 11GB (base game) .. then after that origin will start downloading the next 19 GB . of DLC packs if u have any or have premium ..

THanks once again.. but thats exactly what the problem is.. the power goes out after Every hour and theres no way i can download 19 gb in one hour.. so lets say im downloadin and its on 40% and light goes out... when its back, will the download resume from 40% onwards or will i have to start all over again?

hmm for that u have to find torrents of bf3 dlcs .. download files from torrents and add them in legit installation ..
