Hello Guys !!
Ketlord here. Infact most people dont like to Discuss their gameplay or strategies and comment seriously about others.
I made this thread just to focus on gameplay of :
PLAYERS
CHARACTERS
I will start from GMC 2010. Most of guys just play Tekken and not anyother game. I am one of them
GMC was my first chance to play offline. I normally play offline.
It was really a Mega Event which put some of the great players ( Like Me :mushy: ) under PRESSURE, which result in a Defeat.
Now many guys are good enough at their Arcade but here, they got confused by environment or something else ??? anyone can xplain plz ??? or Share their Experience ??
Second thing which i notice that there were guys who were average or above average but they used Throws so much that it makes the opponet cry and ( he says WTF I came to eat Throws only )
Offcourse breaking thows is an ART but one should Justify his game to play in strats not like a Masher.
Third thing i notice was that most guys could not use Madcat sticks or there was a problem of Buttons for them.
Fourth thing which was not good that some guys were using 1p side for gameplay but they could not SIT on 2p side.....Psychy problem i guess....
Now about characters,
Baek, Raven , Dragunov , Lili, Asuka were successful in the sense that no one use them so they dont know wts coming next....
There were some really good players who used Jack-6 , lars , Eddy, Feng, STV ( Who can forget )
Though Bryn is good but was not successful in My Opinion.
I think its good for start,
I will be regularly posting and will try to share the gameplay of Players as well as some Strats or Traps
Regards !!!
Firstly why good players lose in tournaments..U have mostly answered ur questions in ur posts.. Yes there is always pressure in tournament and some players lose their 50% skills due to this pressure and they can not play with their full potential...Also the conditions effects their game play like at GMC use of madcatz some of players never used them before also with no sitting arrangements whole day u can understand how difficult it will become for them...U need to refresh ur mind between matches to be more focused in game..Tekken is a mind game and if u have to win u will be only focused in the game not anything else...I appreciate to all players who play till night 2-3 am Man thats something brilliant that u can play the game whole day in the conditions like GMC2010...Mostly the guys from other cities are much appreciated...
Now regarding Throws element...Throws plays a big role in the game...Well my opinion is if ur opponent is using lot of throws then its not their fault its ur weakness to allow them throw to u...damn learn to break throws and if u cant, then u know there is always ducking option available to u..So duck and launch them next time they will be thinkin before they try to grab u...Thats how game is played once u stop ur opponent to grab now u can play game more freely...But if u r not good at grabs then best of luck to u...
Now about Characters...T6 has a big cast..So its really difficult to learn all characters and their moves...I still don,t know about many characters and their moves and only way to beat them for me is to play with guessing game...Let me list here the Top Tier Characters in T6 ....This top five list is been taken from Korean and Japenese players...
#1 Bryan...
#2 Bruce...
#3 Bob...
#4 Lars...
#5 Steve...
Yes i totally agree Bryan is #1 player in the game. Bryan has all the options which a top player needs....Well so far i m not able to see any good bryan player here...there r players who play other top charcaters well but no bryan...
DietyDevil
i Totally agree with Ketlord
It was the same at the PG Meetup last time.
and i also agree that there are no players that can play with mishimas, Shame lolz
and next time there should be chairs, so people can rest on it.
it gets boring and tiresome standing all the day.
Well so far i remeber only best mishima player i play was HAROON (Devil Jin) in Tekken DR...I think HAROON was the best mishima player in pakistan...But in T6 he switched to lARS...Yes Namco has toned down the mishimas in T6 and many mishimas players switched to other characters in Korea & Japan also...The best mishima for tournaments in T6 is still the Devil Jin and proof is been given by the Korea's #1 devil jin player Tongal Love in Crash League season 4...
So far my analysis of GMC2010 is that there r many players who don,t know how to punish certain characters...Maybe they were not familier with these characters...But that way u r loosing ur guaranted damage..for example i see many players were not punishing Jack6' D/F+2...This way also u encourage ur opponent to spam D/f+2 on u...And also people not launching certain moves after blocking them and punishing them only with 1,2 punches...Low attacks were also be launched but many players only punishing with WS+4...For example if u see HAfiz Abrar VS Awais Match...If u see last winning round after blocking Marduk's VTS, d+1+2 Abrar only punish it with WS+4 and did not lauch it and lost the match IF he launches the marduk that time he was no doubt the winner of the match..I see that was last round of the match there was pressure on both players but if u have to be good player u have to handle that pressure and take ur maximum guaranted damage.....Thats the main part of ur game which everyone has to improve...
