The free Call of Duty battle royale is a quick success

One month after launch, Call of Duty: Warzone has been played by more than 50 million players, Activision announced Friday on Twitter. The free-to-play Call of Duty battle royale game was released for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One on March 10.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s success is on par with another free-to-play battle royale game: Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends. The Titanfall spinoff also racked up 50 million players in its first month, outpacing the growth of Epic Games’ Fortnite, which grew more slowly but ultimately found massive success.
Activision has regularly updated fans with Warzone’s growing player base, boasting 6 million players in the game’s first 24 hours; 15 million players in the first four days; and 30 million players in the first 10 days.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest update went live Tuesday, April 8, alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s third season of content. Warzone is available as a free, stand-alone download and as part of Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare get another playlist refresh

Earlier this week, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare saw someplaylist shakeups. Infinity Ward replaced the beloved and original Trios variant of Warzonewith a shotguns and snipers-only mode. With its latest update, Trios returns to Warzone, along with a double XP weekend.
The Call of Duty twitter account revealed some changes to playlists in both Warzone andModern Warfare. For Warzone, the original Trios mode returns, and the fantastic Plunder mode gets a two-player variant.
For Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, players can check out the new Dropzone playlist. And the Stir Crazy playlist from earlier this week is getting a 10v10 update with the new Stir Crazy 24/7 variant.
Both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have double XP available over the weekend. The bonus is already active in both games, and lasts through Monday, April 20.

70K? That's it?! Even a conservative estimate of, let's say, 10 million players on PC, that works out to be 0.7% :hah:

With this terrible level of performance on PS4, players are far more likely to die because of bad performance than running into a hacker. The real hackers on consoles is the hardware itself :lol:

I play 90% time with lobbies filled with PSN players. Ofcourse with a mouse and my godlike reflexes, they consider me a cheater too.

I imagine the number of hackers who haven't been caught yet is much higher.

And it sounds like xbox players don't even have the option to disable cross-play, only PS4 owners do.

Sony was right all along with their reservation on cross play

Mouse and keyboard are supported on both PS4 and Xbox One. You may have to eventually move over to a console to continue exhibiting your "godlike reflexes", because at this rate there won't be any console players left to crossplay with :hah:

Yup, much higher. Aimbots, wallhacks, and radar exploits are extremely hard to detect.

Irony is that the consoles can be fooled into thinking you're using a controller when you could can plug a KB/mouse via third party devices and circumvent the input based matchmaking. Not only that, devices like Cronusmax let you run anti-recoil and auto aim scripts on consoles which are impossible to detect.

Now the console players are only left wondering how the controller players are exhibiting "godlike reflexes" without crossplay :lol:

The primary purpose of Chronusmax, much like XIM, is to allow other input devices to work with the PS4 or Xbox One. Running scripts via these USB devices is only possible on an exploited console firmware, and that in itself leads to a ban. Moreover, using XIM/Chronusmax introduces input lag of its own, so it's not nearly as advantageous as you think lol.

Wake me up when these console controller mods (which will/should get you banned just like aimbots) become enough of an issue that most gaming outlets start covering it like the PC hackers :laugh1:

I'm glad PS4 has the option to play console only.

Ideally as many are asking, there should be a console-only crossplay option.

Not to mention, aim assist is already there in the console versions lol.

Yep. While online communities are pleading developers and console manufacturers to ban XIM/Cronusmax cheaters, some people out here trying way too hard to make you believe that its not an issue that plagues ALL console MP games, not just Warzone :hah:

Problem is its a back and forth tussle where console manufacturers claim they provide the tools and its upto the devs and the devs claim that MS and Sony shouldn't be allowing 3rd party controller devices. Never ending game where the players suffer, even the ones paying monthly to play online ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You've failed to provide any visual evidence that proves the use of scripts online on either PS4 and Xbox One.

1. The "aimbot" you're trying to show is nothing more than the game's internal aim assist. As for your claim of recoil assist, I used the same weapon i.e. P90, on the same Shipment map in the exact same location in my video.

2. XIM and Cronusmax devices serve their purpose of simulating the official controller via non-supported input devices, such as the mouse and keyboard. As a result, they are bound to the max turn speeds, analog acceleration, and deadzone settings of the controller. Therefore, it's not exactly cheating, as the device still works within the limitations of the of the controller itself.

3. These devices can run basic scripts, but they don't work on a legit console firmware.

Show me just one video of someone playing on a console using a wallhack to get a kill (in other words, show me a video where someone kills an opponent by shooting him through a wall). Surely, if there are aimbots plaguing "ALL console MP, not just Warzone", there are wallhacks too, right?

Or, since you're a big fan of my no-damage videos, how about a video of a no-damage cheater such as the one here :lol:
