Waiting for PTCL GPON in G-13.
Man, I so wish we didn't have a PTCL/Nayatel monopoly in Isb and Pindi. I'm using 20mbps VDSL, but that leaves me with no choices when it comes to gaming because of higher latencies.
PTCL's service is much better than before but still very sporadic, especially with their coverage area for GPON. In Islamabad, they're only offering it in the F sectors and Bahria as far as I know. Plus the cost of higher speeds is still on the pricey side...
On the other hand, Naytel is seriously swindling people with the promise of better latency but offering lower speeds that are an affront to fiber services everywhere (seriously 10 mbps max and no 24/7 unlimited in 2017...)
I really hope some ISPs come over from Karachi and Lahore to show these guys what a "proper" fiber service is about.
