Sorry if this has already been discussed, or if this is not the right place for this post. I searched but couldn't find any related topic.
So my fiance wants to buy me the Forsaken DLC for Destiny 2, and I told her to wait for a sale, which is happening right now on Battle.net. I do like the main Destiny 2 game, and the main campaign was good. I've been playing Destiny 2 for quite a while now but I hate that Bungie somewhat separated the playerbase. I have always had Destiny 2 and the first two expansions (Curse of Osiris and Warmind). While Curse of Osiris was a fine expansion, I never actually could bring myself to play Warmind (I only JUST started it).
Considering the fact that the standard Forsaken DLC costs $26 right now on sale (this should be free!), and the amount of lore and content and the level cap that it adds, do you think this is worth it?
I liked doing Strikes and stuff, but hardly anyone is on Strikes now (I play EU). Other than that, I like crucible as well but I'm not very good at Destiny 2 PvP and I think a part of it is that I'm having a really hard time getting good PvP equipment.
Gambit and Raids are attractive to me, too. But I've researched getting Forsaken on my own for quite a bit and still can't make my mind up. Help me out please?
