Online GAMING but how?

hello,as some of you know i am very new to this gaming stuff but I am really really interested to play the games, i can't buy these cd's anymore, its not about buying the cd but you know in 100 cd's 1 work and rest are all fake cd's ,guy I wana play online like you do,I am interested but my little cousin whos just 10 is more interested than me so he is also requesting all of you to teach me how to play , i saw counterstrike game ads on some indian channel ad I think it wud be excellent game. I got DSL and everything is upto the mark ,teach me from the very beginning,for eg how to add those server?some ppl say we play on worldcall server.. but I dont get what are they saying, hope you get what i am saying :frown:.. hope you help me

Playing counterstrike online is quite easy...the basic steps are:

1 - Download the latest version of CS (you can find it easily on the net and in the local market)
2 - Install and run the game.
3 - Visit: www.game-monitor.com and search for pakistani CS servers and add them into your CS (server favorites)

and start playing..

these are just the basic steps, you will need lot and lot of information about CS commands, Cvars etc for more advance control. I hope someone who play CS on more regular basis can guide you (contact: posiedon)

I think the more popular version of CS in Pakistan is 1.6 whereas worldwide people play Source. I can't tell you how to do it the pirated way, but you also have the option of buying Source online for just $20. It's a one time charge and you can play 24/7/365 after that. Before buying it though, make sure your connection is fast enough to play it.

1000mbps here is what u need to do
1.Get a CS cd or dl it
2.Install it and run it
3.Find servers on the link Inferno posted
3.Start the game and go to find servers then go to favorites then there will be an add server option click it write the server ip if its valid the server will appear in your facourite servers list double click on it and u are in the game
4.Before that go to options and change your nick name and logo and stuff to suit your style
