I remember CJ's public speeches. Not that I was a part of any of them, but I remember hearing the headlines and reading them in the newspaper. The CJ said that by implementing the law (their law), we would see cheap roti (bread), cheap petrol, cheap housing, no loadshedding and better law and order situation. The last time I recalled it, NONE OF THIS HAPPENED. If he really did mean all that, the first thing he should have done was to lower the price of atta. Your beloved government keeps saying that we have had record production of wheet. If that's true, why are we still paying RS.8/naan(rooti)? That's what he should have done right away if he really cared about the people of Pakistan.
This CJ works for one party and that's the PML-N. Whenever they have a task, he will answer their call. Right now, PML-N had to gain popularity so they filed the petition against the carbon tax. Now, if they had filed a case against NRO, against the MNA using thousands of rupees of petrol, agains the PM who was wearing Rs 70 Lac worth of suit and watch and against the prices of bread, electricity and against this very government and if they had not taken up the seats in the Punjab government, I would not have had such high doubts about their intensions. But all their deeds are tainted with their political corruptions.
By hook or crook, I welcome the decisions that are in public's favor but we also need to see the bigger picture too!
