i used to play it every summer(july-sept) since i purchased it 2yrs ago..but for the past 3-4 months i have been playing it regularly almost every night 10-11pm onwards till 2am..where you at?

That's just the free games. PSN also has seasonal sales just like Steam (learned well they have :p ) and plus members get better discounts than regular users. Those games you get to keep indefinitely.

Just because the steam sales bring about some crazy price cuts doesn't mean Plus is any less worthwhile. It just means Microsoft are a bunch of money hungry arseholes :D

All their goodies/sales worth mentioning are behind a pay wall, which isn't the case with Steam. 'At no additional cost ' fits better than 'free' doesn't it?
And then a game people actually want for 75% off is better than a game you may or may not want for the same (or better) discount, after paying to access those deals.

Moreover, getting PSPlus will become more of a necessity in the future than a premium service (Multiplayer), so slowly but surely they're becoming money hungry arseholes too :p Gotta give them credit for the way they made people ease into it though. Smart move on their part.

I dont like to see this thread got derailed and I hope [MENTION=11352]Necrokiller[/MENTION] will remove all those useless PS3 posts from this thread, but I want to comment a little about this post

You got to be kidding me, the list of games are either to old or too cheap on PC to make any Steam user excited. Most of these games are dirt cheap on PC anyway. I saw games like

Bioshock for 4 dollars an year ago, you can get BIO 1. 2 and expansions for 5$ dollars in last XMAS
Lara Craft going for something like 2.45$
The cave for 4$ something
Borderlands GOTY edition includes all 5 DLCs for 7$
Spec Line for 5$
Gotham City is gone free2play on PC.
King of Fighter for 13 this XMAS, and game was out late on PC so still the price hike.
Saints Row for 3.45$
Sleeping Dogs for 12$
Anomoly warzone for 1.5$
Rengade Dogs for 1.5$
Dark SOuls for 7$
SSF4 goes for 12$ every few months
Just CAuse for 2$ if I recall correctly with the exclusive multiplayer mod

PLus what about deals like Skyrim Legendary Edition for 12$, Mass Effect Trilogy for 30. Battlefield for 15$ plus discounts and tons of games that people actually want to play. Not some random 3,4 games that you dont even play. I am sorry this wasa terrible list of games I will pay 50$ to be playing in 2013

Yes every platform has exclusives, but I am just telling you about games that are commonly known and as I recall I can quote you the prices

PAYDAY the hiest is for 5$ and on Amazon it was 2.45$ an year ago when I bought it. Darksiders for 3.75 something in last summer or free if you bought Darksiders 2.

I mean I am sorry but if these were the games you like to play in 2013 then all power to you.

Dungeon Defenders for 3.75$

Rochard for 1.99$ at this fringing moment.

Choplifter HD for 2.49$

Joe Danger 2 for 7$

Quantum Quandrum for 3.49$

Tales from Space The Mutant Blob for 3.49$
