Fifa 11 here and man is it tough or what!! This pro passing thing has gotten my thumbs to hurt!!

A TIP FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING TROUBLE REDEEMING THEIR ONLINE CODE (COURTESY OMYAKHA) :



Most of you guys probably got a region 2 copy of Fifa 11 right? Does the game tell you that the region of the disc doesn't match the region of your psn store?

Well in anycase go ahead and make a UK psn account. If you don't know how to do that it just involves you giving a UK address when it asks you where you live when you're signing up for a new psn account. After you've made one, sign in with that account then run the game. Now it's going to ask you to make a new EA account to play online when you do. Instead of making a new one, just give the info from your old EA account (This step may not be necessary but do it just in case). Once that is done, you should be able to redeem your code now. The reason behind this is that like all dlc, the code is region locked. You have to be signed in with the same region store to be able to redeem it.

Once you redeem it, you can then just quit and play from ur original account!

ah iam actually waiting for nabeel to bring in those huge pile of fifa11 copies at under 4k to get my copy i will join u guys within a week
although iam playing it currently on 360 i cant wait to play against u guys its going to be different story now given the magnitude of changes in the game

Acha there are people all over the net having trouble redeeming their online codes so I thought I'd write up a small tut for it. Aurry bro you should add it to the first post maybe, upto you(with some better formatting ofcourse)

Man EA has by far the best networking technology.... i mean all games i play i end up cursing ptcl but when i play fifa or bfbc2 there is no frustration lol....
fuhk all u games with shitty net codes a.k.a Mw2, Kz2, SSF4 etc , all the devs should learn smthing from EA...

Its happened this year yaar... luckily i havent gotten much lag uptil now too... but last year there was some... magar pata nahin kyun hamesha yay omyakha kay saath he lag ataa hai mera !!! Anyways... i think ur on my list already... but if ur not ill get you on tomm...see u online bro!!!

so ive made a lil progress, my passing is better and tackling too BUT finishing still sucks, any tips on how to make sure the ball goes in, especially in a 1v1 situation against a keeper...

Well it's not really an exact science, I've been playing for years and I still manage to screw it up from time to time. Try to use the finesse shot when up close, the standard shot works pretty well too. Most players are going to be charging their keepers though whenever you make a breakaway so you're going to want to prepare for that. The chip shot was awesome in Fifa 10 but they've nerfed it for this one. You could practically chip the keeper to death before but not anymore, better to just fake out the charging and slot it into the open goal(this is harder to do in online). The best way to get better is to play the computer on world class difficulty and when you get better legendary difficulty, you'll encounter all kinds of different situations there

Omyakha is right... the chip is destroyed in this... but i was able to fake goal keepers at times even online.... just press x quickly after pressing o and aim towards an opposite direction of the keeper... this will dodge him and give u an open goal... also make sure u know the foot of your player... once you know which foot is stronger for him... just finesse on that angle.. so if ur shooting with a righty try finessing to the left of the keeper and if with a lefty finesse towards the right of the keeper...

L2 initiates the *laces shot* or the out-foot as some ppl call it,...its good for power shots outside the box...inside just use finess or normal shot with, as aurry said know the stronger foot.help loads .....
