guys I need some suggestion for some good anime. It has to be a short one 2 or 3 seasons max with the story line finished within that time frame. Preferably having some mecha element. The animes that are amongst myfav are Code geass and mobile suit gundam (the new one which released sometime after 2007 if I am not mistaken) and full metal alchemist. So please give me some suggestions keeping in view my preferences.
Like frazgta said, definitely watch Gurren Lagann. It is an awesome anime.

And I have sent you a PM, size is big but quality is awesome. :p

Finished Clannad again. DAMN THOSE FEELS!!

I have to say, watching Clannad the second time made me even more appreciative of it. NO anime so far can come close to its level of feels. Plus that soundtrack, probably the best I have ever heard.

I just had this urge to watch it again and see whether it really was that sad and great like I remember. :p

The no-cry-manly shield didn't stand a chance against Clannad the second time either. Just as the unbelievably beautiful with a hint of sadness music kicks in and the sad scene starts, it feels like a huge hammer had been thrown at you at immense velocity, completely shattering the shield and hitting you in the gut.
Once the scene passes, you try to rebuild the shield, giving yourself courage that it'll be okay, that the worst had passed. And it might seem that way for the time being as the anime cleverly lures you in thinking that way, but suddenly out of nowhere, the hammer strikes back with all its might, completely ruining your efforts of rebuilding the shield. This goes on and on until you just SIMPLY GIVE IN. At that moment, the anime acknowledges your pain and rewards you with a gift for all the suffering. And you are just left speechless. You start to think that this is what TRUE WORK OF ART, A MASTERPIECE really feels like.

To think this anime would effect me this much considering I don't even like this genre that much.
I gave it 9/10 the first time, screw that. IT deserves nothing less than a 10/10.

Is it only me or is this season filled with insanely amazing anime? Aldnoah Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, Zankyou No Terror, Barakamon, SAO II, Tokyo ESP, Akame Ga Kill, Glasslip, Love Stage, Kuroshitsuji, you just keep on naming.

P.S You guys are making me rewatch Code Geass and Clannad, about time I did.

Legend of Korra season 3 is out !! already watched two episodes . so far I can see that they are forcing the climax to happen . Honestly I don't want legend of korra to be full of enemies . Avatar was the best :/

Le Chevalier D'eon.

The anime takes place in the 18th century Europe, France mostly, and actually has woven a fictional tale around real events and people, King Louis XV, King George, Queen Mary etc. Lots of politics, backstabbing, alliances, betrayal that sort of stuff.

The setting was nice and all but the characters didn't felt that much interesting to me, not at first at least. I guess seeing how it is a political anime, I wanted more tension between dialogues and stuff. I found the anime just marginally good for the first half or so but luckily things started to get better after that. The last 4-5 episodes were very captivating and entertaining. All the build up let to that and it didn't disappoint.

Animation was good. The soundtrack was good too.

One thing that really bugged was the hero having a very feminine face and stuff so it blends with the plot, didn't like that at all.

7.5/10
