This lens retails for over $700 if you can find one and goes for around $500 used on ebay. My price is MORE than justified. Please get your facts straight before making such a claim.

oo my sweetheart i hav been using mark IV nd d300 with lots n lots of filters n speedlites i have created whole damn page on flikr with my great shots n u r gna tell me wat is 1.2F .. kidding me sweetheart.. n lemme tell u one thing dznt matter watevr its price is on ebay at every port custom is different u can buy t2i in USA costlier than 550d from malaysia or dubai ther is not the difference of just 10$ its more than evn 100$.. dont limit ur knwldge upto focal length n aperture better move on to other features of motor inside the lens which makes its real damn price.. ur price is touching price of new lens my dear

Ok, I gotta admit I LOL'd when I saw they ebay link. You know how ebay works, dont you? Ebay has two buying options, a Buy it now option and the choice to auction your item. The link you have quoted sir jee is for an auction(I dont need to explain auction, do I?). The latest bid on the lens is for 200$, that is not the final price. The bidding probably started from 50 bucks, should i sell the lens at 50$ now. Here's a link on ebay(auction) for a Nikon D300.

Right now the bid is at $250(which may increase by time as more bids come in). Is the camera worth $250? I ask. Did I make my point? The other option is Buy it now, whcih works like PG, you quote a price yourself and the buyer buys it at that price. I dont really care If you've been using SLRs before I was born, all I know is, that I'm selling my equipment for a price equal to or even lower that the US market price for a used item and still you pester me with weird ebay links when you dont even know how ebay works.

This is the only f1.2 Nikon lens, that is why its market value is so much, regardless of it being an old lens. If you can get an f1.2 lens for less than the price I am asking, please, by all means get one. And please quote me an ebay link(Buy it now) for $200 and I will give you the lens for free-You have my word, this post wont be edited and wont be removed. Good Day.

Of course you can get that type of shot, but you'll have to be standing REALLY far away from your subject to get that kind of shot. There is a reason these types of lenses are expensive, that is you can get telephoto type shots at only 50mm focal length, you should know. Why do people buy the Canon 35mm 1.2 for $1500 then, when the same shot can be taken with a much cheaper telephoto?

I've validated all my points including the price, just because a lens is old doesnt mean it should be dirt cheap. The price I quoted IS the market value of the item. Period.If you can come up with a link or such to prove me otherwise, I will lower my price to that point the very same day. I've given you TONNES of links backing up my price point and yet you havent provided me with ANYTHING to justify your claim, you have nothing so back up your so-called 'Facts', whcih makes your argument useless, I'm sorry but this is how the PG marketplace works. Everything else e.g It's and SLR lens, it doesnt have AF etc. are totally irrelevant. The market price is based upon all those things. You seem like a nice enough guy so I'm gonna let this go, now please don't stretch this argument any more unless you have any proof to back up your claims.
