Nexus 4 battery ruined after Android update.

Android KitKat 4.4.4: Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 10 Users Report Bugs; Battery Drain Reported

Has anybody gone through this? It seems alot of Nexus users are facing all sorts of problems after the 4.4.4 update? I installed it sometime ago and:

1) Cell reception keeps dropping.
2) Battery has gone to SHIT. Runs for hardly a few hours. I turn the phone off and restart it, battery drops from 80% to 10% something, sometimes the phone dies at 2-30-50 % battery level ! Its performing really erratically.

My question is, could this be the update issue or something else? I've recently had my battery changed (a few months ago) and it has been working great, runs 24 hours usually, but now its gone to shit and I'm not sure if its the update or the battery replacement?

Anybody else facing similar issues, hello nexus users?

Nexus 5 owner, no issue at all with battery , infact I think it's a bit more stable ......

Looks more of battery issue, you might have bought a Chinese replacement which works for not more than 3 months, original batteries dobara nahin milti

I got it changed from Kuala Lumpur from a guy a friend suggested (previously had dealings with), not sure its the battery. Nobody here facing these issues?

Why don't you see some international forums like xda. Post your problem there and find out if anyone's facing the same issue

4.4.4 has battery problem.
Nexus 5 user. Usually it gets sorted out by restarting.
