Next WoW Expansion Announced : "Cataclysm".

top stories Blizzard Entertainment has just confirmed a brand new expansion pack for World of Warcraft. Following up Wrath of the Lick King will be Cataclysm, revealed at Blizzcon today. The new expansion will put players against the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing, who threatens to destroy all of Azeroth. Those damn corrupted Dragon Aspects!
Cataclysm will include two new playable races, Worgen for the Alliance and Goblins for the Horde. The level cap has increased once more, this time to 85, and old areas of the game have been recreated thanks to Deathwing's awakening. Plenty more additions are included, such as new race and class combinations, a new secondary profession and flying mounts.

OMG i'm so jealous that I wasn't able to post this first . Everything is looking great about the new expansion and I'm glad that they have changed Azzeroth as well so people leveling from scratch can enjoy the new content as well.

BTW guys, i dunno if any of you are into warcraft lore ( its the biggest reason i got into this game :< im geeky like that ), but there will be some major lore changes during the course of the expansion.

1. Thrall wont be warchief nor will he be in the Horde, hellscreams son is taking over. yea the angry guy who pussied out in TBC but transformed like the hulk in wotlk.
2. Malfurion is coming back but will probably be neutral like other major lore characts such as khadgar, rhonin, sunreaver hotty. im speculating here, because i read he will join the council of tirisfal. the guys behind the guardian of tirisfal, medivh, his mum. Thrall might also be the new gaurdian.
3. garona's son will most probably be introduced. Hes from the comics, just like varian wyrm was. i havnt read the recent comics myself, but i know deso does, maybe he can tell us what this kid is exactly.
4. finally cairn is to be killed off.
again this is all speculation.

yes it is... going through same locations over and over again is now quite boring... also i hate wotlk expansion, it made wow worse there is nothing to do now... back in the TBC times it was epic

Obviously you don't play on retail. The amount of bugs in Private servers would ruin WotLK which is, BTW a much more polished expansion than BC.
If you play PvP, it's worse on Privates since the class mechanics are MUCH more complex then they used to be. (More Self-Triggered Buffs, Complex calculations for stats etc etc.)
