[h=2]Another big batch of indie games for Switch will be revealed[/h]

Nintendo will broadcast a new Nindies Showcase — a livestream video presentation highlight new indie games coming to Nintendo Switch — on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. And even though it seems like every day brings a fresh announcements of new and previously released indie games coming to Switch, Nintendo promises “multiple unannounced” titles during its summer showcase.
The latest Nindies Showcase will be streamed on YouTube and on Nintendo’s website. We’ve embedded the video above.
Nintendo’s previous Nindies Showcase aired earlier this year and revealed new details on games like Mark of the Ninja Remastered, Fantasy Strike, Just Shapes and Beats, Pool Panic,Reigns: Kings and Queens, The Messenger and Bad North. While some of those Nindies have already come to Switch, some are due later this year.
The Nindies Showcase for summer will take place just a few days before PAX West kicks off in Seattle, where Nintendo typically brings its newest games. This year, its PAX lineup includes Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Party and Diablo 3: Eternal Collection

[h=1]TowerFall arrives on Nintendo Switch this September[/h]

[h=2]One of the best local multiplayer games is on its way to the Switch[/h]

TowerFall, the cult-classic local multiplayer game, will arrive on Nintendo Switch on Sept. 27. It is available to pre-order now, Nintendo revealed during its summer 2018 Nindies Showcase.
While TowerFall has been on several platforms before — including PlayStation, Xbox, mobile platforms and even the Ouya — this will be the first version on a Nintendo console. This version will also include all of the content from the TowerFall Dark World and TowerFall Ascension expansions.
While TowerFall’s standout mode is its competitive local multiplayer, which can be played by up to six players, the Nintendo Switch version will also feature the game’s co-op mode which can be played with up to four players.
As an added bonus to this version of the game, Madeline and Badeline from Celeste— also developed by the studio behind TowerFall, Matt Makes Games — will be joining the cast of characters exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version of TowerFall.

[h=1]Samurai Gunn 2 announced for Nintendo Switch[/h]

[h=2]The surprise sequel will be out next year[/h]

Nintendo announced that Samurai Gunn 2 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch duringtoday’s “Nindies” livestream. The game will feature an all-new adventure mode that you can play by yourself, or with friends. The game even features a story, about a city that’s growing too quickly and the issue of ... gunpowder overdoses?
Also, Samurai Gunn 2 exists! This is a great surprise, and the Nindies livestream was an unexpected but welcome place to hear about the game first. This seems like a good fit for the console.
You can also play against up to four friends in the versus mode, which looks similar to the original game, but features improved controls along with new characters and new levels. If you haven’t played Samurai Gunn, imagine something that’s a bit similar to TowerFall but with every player getting a gun, a sword and three bullets per life.
The Nintendo Switch version will also come with a digital Samurai Gunn graphic novel byFrench artist Valentin Seiche.

Samurai Gunn 2 will be out in early 2019. No other platforms were announced.

[h=1]Into the Breach comes to Nintendo Switch today[/h]

[h=2]From the makers of FTL: Faster Than Light, it’s an excellent fit for the hybrid console[/h]

Into the Breach, the turn-based strategy game from the team behind FTL: Faster Than Light, is coming to the Nintendo Switch. The listing is live on the Nintendo storefront right now, with a price of $14.99.
The announcement of the port of Into the Breach, which was first released on PC platforms earlier this year, came during today’s Nintendo Nindies Showcase, which was streamed on YouTube and Twitch. In the lore of the game, players take on the role of mech pilots fighting against an alien onslaught on four distinct islands.
When players die in-game, they’re able to select a single pilot to travel through time to begin the fight again with enhanced skills and upgraded mechs.
In its short time on the market, Into the Breach has achieved critical acclaim. In Polygon’s preview from February, we remarked that the game was more forgiving than FTL and yet no less challenging. The secret is a steady stream of unlockables, which give players new ways to attempt ever more demanding challenges.
Into the Breach has more unlockables overall, and is more generous with how it doles them out over time. Players earn coins by unlocking squad achievements, and those coins are routinely earned by subtle modifications in how you play. Knock a few more monsters into the water, use a newly acquired weapon once or twice, and Subset tosses you a few coins that you can then turn in to open up entirely new sets of mechs. It’s a far more generous system than the one used to unlock new content in FTL, and a welcome modification that is guaranteed to have me coming back for multiple playthroughs.
Into the Breach is available now on Nintendo Switch.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
