New intel Processor Penryn Arrives ( Poor Performance.!!!!)

The penryn processor of lead free was released today. The benmarks at www.extremetech.com shows that its performance does not increase and is similar to core 2 duo . The price is 1000$ wiered but intel claims this to be first processor of this generation. :frown:

The whole purpose of a manufacturing process is to make the processor more efficient by making it cooler (less heat!) and make it consume less power, and in time Intel will ship processors with faster clock rates but for now this is awesome.

As beginner said, 4.5ghz ON A QUAD CORE on AIR COOLING is no joke! Those things are freakin hot and yet 4.5ghz on air is damn awesome. Bye bye to liquid cooling .
