Salam Guys, I need your help the thing is new days back my colleague gave me his S4 I9505 and he told me to update his phone firmware to lollipop which I did. But the 2 problems that started to occur which is as follows:

Problems:

1st problem that occurred that is Wifi doesn't works anymore after the update, in simple words when I tap the wifi logo/button nothing happens at all. I tried resetting the phone as well as wiping the cache but all in vain.

2nd problem is that I'm unable to install modem files as well as older and newer firmware files I get the following error which I try to start update the update firmware via Odin. I even changed the Odin version of PC app but nothing happened. As for samsung USB drivers they are also installed correctly.

This is the Odin Error when I try to update the firmware either to new or to the older one. Also do remember that I also tried to update the modem file seprately I and get similar FAIL error on Odin.

One more important thing that I noticed was that when the cellphone was upgraded to Lollipop, on Samsung startup logo there started to appear a line which is as follows "Set Warranty Bit: kernel".

Where as on Odin or Download Mode the things that appear on top left corner as shown in the picture below:

So therefore with utmost request if someone can solve my problem via Skype I would really appreciate his help.

Thanks in advance.

The title says you want to re-flash a GT-I9505 which is the International Variant of the Galaxy S4.
The picture of the bootloader shows SGH-M919, which is the T-Mobile variant of the Galaxy S4.
The Odin log shows you're trying to flash the recovery of 'd2vzw' which is a Verizon Galaxy S3.

If the phone actually is an SGH-M919 and it hasn't been screwed up enough, download the stock T-Mobile ROM and flash that through Odin.

Murtaza the phone came from UAE and it's odd to see how the heck is it running T Mobile firmware. That's quite a shock to me. I tried to update it to via UAE firmware before but odin fails to do so.

So how can I update the firmware to uae rather than T Mobile

If the bootloader actually shows SGH-M919 then it really is a T-Mobile phone.
Download the M919 firmware and flash it using Odin.

You can't flash UAE Firmware on a T-Mobile phone.

These are the countries I'm seeing on Sammobile right now:

YOU CAN'T FLASH GT-I9505 FIRMWARE BECAUSE THIS ISN'T A GT-I9505!

The bootloader says it's SGH-M919, you have to flash a T-Mobile USA SGH-M919 firmware.

Thanks a lot bro. The phone is working normal like before the Lollipop update. Although there's a little bit of a problem with the current T-mobile firmware and that is whenever I Turnoff or Restart the mobile it always forgets the WiFi password and I always have to put the password for the WiFi again either on restart or on Turning on the phone again.

Any solutions for that ? As I've heard that a lot of T-mobile users face the similar issue just like me.

It is KitKat I'm assuming?

I don't think T-Mobile ever pushed out a 5.0.1 update for the M919, so you're going to have to flash a Custom ROM. Either CyanogenMod or the GPE ROM.
