Need some help with COD4

I'm not sure wtf happened but I simply cannot connect to any COD4 servers. Was having issues with Punkbuster so I reinstalled the game and after that, BAM, can't connect to shit. I can't even get a server list in-game. Now what's weird is that I'm having the exact same issues with TeamFortress 2 but CS:GO works perfectly fine. dafuq. I'm seriously out of my depth here and I haven't played for almost 3 weeks now!! Can anyone recommend anything?

First tell is you game updated to 1.7 or its showing 1.0.5 ?
If it 1.0v then update to latest 1.6 and then 1.7v . If still not update then i think you got the rip version which is creating problem. i did experienced the same issue tried different windows as well but no relief. hence i downloaded difference version of cod4.

Solution
Download Call of duty-Razor1911 edition its of 6.27GB in size.

it will surely resolve your problem. make sure you follow the steps of updating the game. first 1.6v and then 1.7v patches. another thing i tell you, PB is not supporting COD4 anymore. you can google it for more info.

Sorry for not following up. Apparently, until someone quotes you, you don't get any notifications on PG. Anyhow, I solved the issue by replacing the game exe with another one. Worked like a charm. Appreciate the suggestions though.

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
