After around 8 years, I'm thinking of getting a gaming Rig. Now the problem is the choice between Nvidia and amd. 980 or whatever the latest amd is. Plus what about hp envy phoenix 810? How do they perform and what should be there worth with 980, 32gb ram, 4790k and 3tb hdd. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

am not aware about branded PC...
however as u don't change hardware frequently, it probably will suite u...
however its price should be compared with equivalent non branded PC, if huge difference found then u may prefer non-branded ...
overall, any 4th Gen i5 with 970/980 would be more than enough for gaming at 1080p ... 8 GB RAM or maximum 16 GB ...
