[SOLVED] Need GPU Buying advice

AOA as the title says need advice buying new gpu .i had a 580 3GB which is sold now. Now need to upgrade my GPU. i was waiting for the GTX 960 to hit the market but its delayed.
My budget is about 25K. had a gtx 770 or R9 280X in mind. which is the best GPU for my budget and whats yr advice. My gaming system is i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz 10GB ram 1080P desplay...

Gigabyte 280x would be Adequate choice, since you can't afford 970 @ current market price. MSI/ASUS brands have issues so if you go 280x then try to stick to Gigabyte only. other options are MSI/Gigabyte 760 under 24K.

i don't think you can find 770 @ 25K range. untill GTX 960 hit the market.

thanks for yr reply @nafu your option is good but i am getting a EVGA GTX 770 SC from a friend but its with the reference cooler ( Blower Design ).does the 770 worth the extra.

umm, yes it does in terms maximum optimization in games for NVIDIA GPU, but by much/.. But 280x with little overclock become same as 770. on the other hand 280X is 3GB little more vRam than 770. these days, modern games do utililze more tha 2GB VRAM, like BF3, BF4, Crysis 3, few others so i would prefer 280x 3GB over nvidia 2GB cards.

reference fan cooler so it is expected to be on that price range. go for it if you can bear reference design.

Hmm Tanks [MENTION=21647]nafu[/MENTION] Going to buy the 770 havent bought ati before so will try the 770 till ati introduces new generation or 970 comes to reasonable price..:wink2:
