Recently I have moved on from my older LCD monitor and am looking for an LED TV. I need a 40 inch size which is only available in TVs. I also need 2 hdmi ports and 1 usb is a must. Some of my own researched products were:

1. Samsung LED 40EH5000
2. LG 40inch LED (Dont remember the model number)
3. Sony Bravia 42 inch LED

So what do you guys recommend. I am basically going to use it as a monitor but I will also watch TV on it so what would you recommend. And do suggest a good place I could buy it from in Lahore.

Good luck with you purchase bro.

I am also looking for a 50" led and from my research the following models are the best bang for buck.
1. Samsung F6400 ( 3D smart with Active 3D)
2. LG LA6200 ( 3D Smart with Passive 3D)

The bigger problem however is this. Both LG and Samsung are coming in two types in the market. The genuine one that comes under warranty by LG Ruba Pakistan or Samsung Orient Pakistan.
The other type is the ones made in malaysia, with no warranty applicable in pakistan.

Now obviously the ones with warranty seem like a better option but I'm concerned about their quality as they are assembled in Pakistan. Malaysia ones might be without warranty but the probability of them having to be repaired/replaced seems less to me.

Anyone has better insight on this?

Cheers!
