Need a phone in 30-35k range, Brand new.

I need a phone in 30-35k range since my Nexus 5x bootlooped, it turned on but might die anytime.

Don't need good camera etc etc. I need an overall good performance. Looking for performance like iPhone. Recently my Nexus 5x has been very laggy with even the small apps. Hated it!

If you're looking for stability then I would suggest looking for an iPhone in that price range. I think iPhone 6 or if you're lucky, a 6S might be available. However, if it's 6S then it would cost a couple of thousand more. Of course, these are not brand new. Otherwise, if you're looking into Android with top notch performance, I would suggest OnePlus 3 in that price range if you can manage to get it from abroad.
Other options are
-Galaxy S6 Edge
-OnePlus X (You can get this new)
-iPhone SE (There is one up for sale on PG, as far as I remember. It's factory unlocked and all)
If you're considering on saving on the phone then I would suggest looking at Huawei's Honor 8 Lite as well. It's a budget phone and very well speced for the price with amazing looks as well.

My Nexus 5X died as well and now I am just saving up to buy an iPhone. I have had two LG phones in the past, Nexus 5X and G4. Both died because of the same issue. I would recommend going for Apple. Highly. I have seen people using it for years without any serious hiccups. I still see my brother using the iPhone 5 he bought 2 years ago.

I like iPhone 6 but I'll probably buy anything more than 16 gb. Not 16 gb. 16 gb is a torture I swear.

Why is Honor 8 lite not there on GSMARENA? Can't find it. Can you link it to me please?

I don't think my father will agree on used phone or anything other than Samsung this time :/

I did many fancy things in past, didn't listen to him and always regretted. Lol.

And same bro. Did a lot of playing around with my old phones. One thing I learned for sure is never buy an LG phone unless you have proper coverage.

And if you're looking in the budget range in Samsung then I would suggest looking at J5 Prime or J7. Or slightly old A series.

well if overall good performance is required with average camera get Xiaomi note 4 .. best in class battery and good overall performanceand it cost just 20k with warranty

True that. J7 2017?

I used Huawei G8 last year and it sucked. Made me hate Huawei. It was so laggy. I don't know how these phones are. A lot of people are recommending Xiaomi phones but again, dad would be like buy a phone of some reputed company. :D

The way he said when I was buying 5X :laugh1:



Can't go for J5 prime or anything that has less than 3gb ram. I hated Nexus 5x since I started using it. Don't know how I used it for one year.

If you can opt for a new Samsung A5 2017 according to your budget and satisfaction then I would recommend to do so. I wouldn't be sure how long it would last until the software starts to lag. Happens a lot on Samsung devices as far as I know.

So you prefer a Huawei in that case? What's the market price of S7? What about the bootlooped N5x? Should I throw it away? Or I might get 1-2 k for it? :p

I would have recommended you a LG G5 Dual sim that is being sold for 35k on telemart right now but seeing as LG is notorious for bootloop issues I can't. You could go for the last year Xiaomi's flagship Mi 5 or MI 5s brand new in warranty. Even a 64 gig mi 5 goes for 26k

You can get some money off of it. If you sell it for parts. 1k or 2k is a safe assumption. I prefer Huawei's Honor 8 Lite because of various reasons:
-It looks good
-It's new
-Well speced
-Budget friendly.

Okay, SO you need a smartphone under 35k. Camera is not your main priority. You want good processor and ram management (Like iPhone). These are the phones you should go with:-
1) Samsung Galaxy S7 -
I dont need to enter how good is that phone Right? Look, you cant get Galaxy S7 in 35k new.But you can easily get in at 27K PKR AT&T version. (Means american version). People say it lags? No way, Take care of it Dont install apps you dont need, don't install from third party, it will last up to years. Rehan Arian is popular in the Facebook page for selling this in 27K.
2) Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
One of the best phone in mid rangers. IF you dont know, Xiaomi is also a tech giant and is released in Pakistan months ago. But what is the main con? IF you break the screen or any damage occurs to your phone u will have to pay heavy bills to get your device back! Specially the screen. Take care of it & if you are an iPhone user you will feel like same UI (User interface). Available Offline & Online at about 20.5K 3gb Ram / 32Gb storage.
3) Huawei P10 Lite
4GB RAM/ 32GB ROM. The bulid quality <3 is love. I love the blue color. You will get latest Android 7.0 and display is good also.
4) Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro
Released today. 32Gb/ 3gb for about 36K. Pro's:- 1) Galaxy S8 UI 2)Good Camera Cons:- 1) Less Ram/Rom according to price 2) Price Not guranteed; May reduce from 36K to 30K soon -_- as of Galaxy A3.
COMMON FAQ's:-
1) Why not Galaxy J5 Pro 2017, A3?
Ans: Bro, Samsung maybe the best phone manufacture but there midrangers are not that good. J5 PRO the newly released is having 2GB Ram, 16GB rom at more than 30K ;D. I tested that device. Awesome UI same like Galaxy S8 but still not preferable . Same with other midrangers.
2) Why not Oneplus X, 3?
Ans: No more Android Updates. If you are okay with that, go with OP-3 not sure of the price.
3) What about iPhone 5s? I can easily get it at 25K?
Ans:- Outdated. WIll lag alot.
4) Iphone SE?
Ans:- SMaller size if you want. Will prefer android devices.
5) Honor 8 Lite?
16GB ROM. The version released in Pak is only of 16Gb. Not prefer that. 41K The Bigger Bro Honor 8 if you could go with that, But camera is the main focus there.
6) A5 or C7 PRO?
