Been busy this year and so I'm totally out of touch on laptops and machines generally, of now.
I need a new laptop.
Budget: $900
HOWEVER, I'd really like something in the range of 400-500, maybe even cheaper. I wouldn't want to spend exorbitantly high on a machine at this point of time.
Will be using a lot of Excel, Word, Ppt and CAD.
Primary needs are of course uni work. Apart from that, I'd prefer a good screen. I'd want an excellent battery life (4-6 hours shouldn't be too much to ask in todays world. More is better) and I'd want a device that's light weight. Would occasionally be watching movies and using the machine to play FIFA 15, when it comes, once in a while. I really have no clue about the proposed requirements for that so I'm asking here. I'd prefer a device WITHOUT a dGPU, so heres to hoping FIFA isn't that graphic intensive.
Suggestions?
Although I'd prefer Asus or Lenovo and want to avoid HP, I'm open to all brands. The cheaper the better. Can buy the device from here, or from Dubai.
