Btw what am i gonna do after i've bought the parts? Should i assemble the rig my self or get someone else to do it? Because I have no idea how it's done..

I could buy a better case if i wanted to. Which casing do u suggest i shud get?

GTX460 cant handle all current games on 1080p anymore and why not buy something future proof when you are at it. Case isnt that important i believe. :)

@Magpie
Samsung BX2331 seems to be a good enough LCD. You can buy it from any reputed shop. Its available pretty much everywhere.

Yes, the setup you listed above is prefect. btw can i ask why you have chosen Liteon Optical drive. I would have gone with some thing like ASUS or Samsung.

Regarding LCD, i would recommend you to find Samsung BX2331, if its not available anywhere. Then you can check out Dell ST2420L. It got 5ms response time, thats the only draw back i could find in it but you'll get a 24inch display.

Search for a 24 inch monitor. It will be available for i think 25 to 26 K
because these 22 inch monitors put alot of stress to your eyes.
Try to find a Samsung BX 2431 its a really good monitor.
But dont go for a dell 24 inch led monitor because they have some problems in it.

Does a 3 inch difference really matter that much?

@ Magpie
For me it does.
but check a 24 inch lcd and a 22 inch lcd on display first then go for what you like it .

Also when you watch a movie from a distance ( for example from your couch or bed ) on a 22 inch lcd at 1080p . You will not enjoy it.
But if you are on the computer chair then its fine.

Ok, thanks alot guys for all the replies! :)
But would the 500w PSU be enough for the setup that i listed?

And I decided that i'm gonna get a better case cos i wont be changing it for a looong time and cos i dont like the look of the asgard 2. I'm thinking of either buying the HAF 912, the CM690 II PLUS, or the CM scout. So basically, i'm willing to spend up to 9000 rupees on the case. Do u think i shud spend that much on it? or just stick with the asgard 2?

I've decided to go for the CM 690 II Plus. The only question that's left unanswered now is... Will a 500W PSU be enough for the rig?

Alright, thanks alot! I can't tell you guys how thankful i am for all the replies! :D I'll post benchies and maybe even screens of the rig itself next week when i've got it :D

But one last question: would cm 690 ii plus be overkill for the rig? since i wont be buying any extra fans or anything else with it..
