[NBA] Getting a new laptop

Hello everyone!

I wanted to buy a new laptop as i kind of feel my toshiba is getting some age and wanted some advice. The laptop i've picked is this:

Dell Inspiron N5110 (Ci5,1GB Card, Dos) Price in Pakistan, Specs, Rate, Reviews, Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi - Mega.Pk

I've seen some videos of this laptop running crysis 2 which is a good sign i hope.

my requirements:

Mainly for work and home use and some gaming on the side. Granted i'm building a nice home desktop for proper gaming this is more for portability.

I would like it to run most games that i throw at it, specifically Diablo 3. It does not need to run it on max settings on anything medium or even low is fine as long as it runs it.

Another main this is reliability I want it to last for at least a year i hear HP's quite problematic but hear good things about dell.

Any suggestions if this is a good choice or another laptop would be really appreciated.

thanks for the recommendation i've actually been through your entire thread before. The only thing is that im not a fan of Acer to be honest. Its just a personal preference really no offense intended. But you mentioned to never get a dell, i wanted to ask why? did you have a bad experience? that would maybe make me reconsider getting the dell.

Are there any other laptops in the same range with the gt540m? ive done some comparisons and the card is quite a bit ahead of the gt525m so now im in some doubt.

No there aren't any. Acer is the only company which is offering a GT-540m in such a low (affordable) price tag.

And you should change your personal preference as you're simply ignoring the best there is and for the price. I've personally used Acer notebooks and LED's and I think that they're just simply the best in making this stuff.

I totally agree with Ali Man abt Acer's company regarding there quality and stuff.

Secondly, the reason I told u to not to buy the dell inspiron lappy cuz i've heard there r a bit problems with this specific model. I haven't used it in person but alot ov guyz recommended me NOT to buy this lappy and therefore, i got the acer wen i heard the amazing price tag.

Thirdly, U're the FIRST person i've come across who is NOT a fan ov acer ... i mean seriously, they even make FERRARI products as well .... It's just a comment, not a statement ..... but mind u, ACER is, no dought, one HELL ov a company.

Yup acer is good at LED's and notebooks !
You may consider getting an acer over Dell Inspiron N5110
