Karachi.
Need to buy a low RPM (like 1-2 RPM max) DC motor (one that works on 6-36 Volts) with decently high torque. Any idea where I can find such motors in Karachi? If someone other than Karachi has any idea where I could get them, please comment.

Never buy them brand new unless you have money to throw. You would be better advised to hit the second-hand shops. Kabarye ki dukan for example.

Cooperative market, but it would be difficult to find one without a sample, as the people there usually don't know and don't care

^Thats what I am afraid of :( Cooperative market is strange. Ask them for components of exact specifications but you will still get wrong components lol. I want to go to a place where if I ask them that I need a gear DC motor of 1-2 RPM, they will get me that exact piece... Shershah won't be that good either, especially in Ramzan...

Still I thank you a lot for the recommendations. I will give these places a look soon. Will also share the results of what I am trying to make, if I am successful :D

Yup will buy them used or off scrap. I need to use the motor for periods of like 5 minutes per week. So a bad condition motor would work fine for my use. Sadly a kabarya won't know what exactly it is that I am looking for. He wouldn't know what rpm means :{

u can find on thela's in front of the cooperative market

they are usually lying here and there on thela's costing around 100 rupees.

they are normal motors with a gearbox installed in front of them. that slows the rpm and increases the torque

If you want really high torque then you could use the Power windows DC motor (the ones used for automatic windows in car) they cost a bit more around 500 - 700 per motor and are available easily in tibet center/ plaza

If you need any other info. PM me. have been using them for some projects during uni time.

    Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
