Super Mario Galaxy
Mario is back again in yet another adventure which promises to be the most unique and enjoyable yet. The game is fully designed for the Wii and its motion controls. Mario this time around has some new moves in addition to the normal jumping and platforming. The Big M will need to spin into Goombas to clear a path, or into objects like crates to break them apart. Meanwhile, you can aim the Wii-mote to direct an on-screen reticule, which scoops up coins easily and without moving Mario to them. But the most fun part about the game is jumping from one planet to another there are practically dozens of planets, asteroids in galaxy. Think of them as small round 3d levels. Mario's latest endeavor seems to be the quintessential marriage of old and new. It's also ridiculously fun. Why can't we fast-forward to next year?
Super Smash Bros Brawl
This is Nintendo's ace, the most popular Gamecube game makes it way to the Wii, revealed at E3 2006 in a crazy trailer revealing Solid Snake as a new character and the return of fan favorites such as Mario and Link SSBB is going to be a light hearted fight-fest a perfect match to the Wii. The game will also support online play increasing the life span of game.
Fire Emblem
Nintendo's flagship RPG series may not be as popular as some of the other Japanese RPG's but the game has a decent sized cult following due to its good mix of Traditional Role playing elements and Strategy. The game will not use the Wiimote but is instead only playable through the classic controller. This is good to hear that Nintendo isn't forcing motion sensing onto games which don't require it
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The ass kicking cyborg lady returns on the wii mote like a match made in heaven. The game simulates accuracy of PC shooters perfectly with pin point precision and quick turns. Metroid feels like a brand new game with the wii controls and is the most gorgeous looking Wii game yet.
Animal Crossing
Nothing is known about this game yet other than that its bringing the same charming and fun game formula to the Wii. With Wii's online capabilities this is going to be one hell of a time eater.
Soul Calibur 4
What better way to use the wiimote then sword fighting? and namco brings the best sword fighting there is to the wii in soulcalibur's next installment.
Diaster: Day Of Crisis
Disaster: Day of Crisis has you racing to survive against a variety of natural catastrophes in a short period of time - and amidst the chaos, a rogue special forces unit has seized a nuclear weapon, which you must recover.
Sounds crazy? because it is you get lost on an island filled with natural diasters cyclones, earthquakes, storms, tsunami's and you must escape them all. Sounds promising? yes it is
