Microsoft needs to understand that the OS matters most. Their conference last night was disappointing from the aspect that they showed very little of how Windows 10 will enhance mobile experience. Universal apps might fix their atrocious Facebook and Instagram apps but their 3rd-party app support is still dreadful.
Nobody's going to buy the 950 XL version, unless MS releases proper 'phablet' apps to support the screen size. Lumia 950 looks appealing though. Probably gonna be my next phone if I decide to stick to the Windows Phone platform.
Provide us an incentive to do so, Microsoft!
