Microsoft getting the Community involved in E3 this year; Microsoft’s E3 2009 booth is HUGE

While listening to Major Nelson’s (Microsoft’s own Director of Programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hryb) podcast for today, Major Nelson announced some very interesting news.
Major Nelson stated:

“I can’t say much but I will say this; part of the Xbox Experience is Xbox Live, and part of Xbox Live is the community. The community will definitely play a role in this.”

In response to Major Nelson, “e” stated:

“We’re gonna try and get the community involved in E3 this year.”
​

So what is this “Community getting involved in E3″? Unveiled at E3 2008, Microsoft introduced its Xbox Live expansion named Xbox Live Primetime. Featured in Xbox Live Primetime was a game based off the hit TV game show 1 vs. 100. Will Microsoft invite the community to play 1 vs. 100 with them at their E3 press conference? Will we see new games that will be released for Primetime?
Also stated in Major Nelson’s Podcast, Major Nelson talked about Microsoft’s booth:

“I’ve seen that picture of our booth, its gonna be HUGE.”

So with Microsoft’s booth will be plentiful of games, and with the introduction of the fans participating in Microsoft’s E3 2009 press conference, it looks like we can certainly look forward to E3 this year.

As far as the E3 is concerned I think this time there would be a definite comeback from the sony side as well. As they have seen themselves goin down in the previous after their exclusive getting slipped of their sleeves to the green box.

But I m looking forward to the games and up for big surprises.

as for mgs is there a contract between konami and sony for the exclusivity of metal ? therefore contracts get expired by time period ! i as a xboxer can just dream about it till e3 .

Metal gear coming to XBOX360 is none. Just on a technical note METAL GEAR SOLID 4 boasts 40 GB of data on BLU-RAY. Is this possible on even 5 dvds.

It'll be a sonovabich to install the game on the hdd (if we have the damn space), it'll take around 2-3 hrs.

40 GB of uncompressed data with full 7.1 surround (which i dont think the 360 even supports, and will obviously get downsampled). Downscaling and proper compression can go a long way. See : GTA IV.

If the game does get announced i wouldn't expect it to be any more than 3 discs at the most.

Get a PS3.

my my is somebody living under a rock or what.The whole data is uncompressed...there are ALOT smart compression techniques that'll make MGS4 fit on 2 dual layer dvd's easily.

And seriously,i'd rather choose a one time disc change annoyance then a 3minute mandatory install after every chapter.

see Prototype.The game is reported to have 7.1 Surround Sound on 360,actually the first game to be having it on 360.
