actually no its pretty much defection seeing as if this deal comes to pass he'll be exclusive to blu ray in next gen formats.

which would mean nothing seeing as how FOX is a blu ray exclusive studio. And since FOX is the most interested in the HALO property at this moment, this is all we can imagine the possible outcome will be.

then they'd just have to find a different studio, i dont think fox is going to change their format support just for one movie ..

unless of course MS gives in and has it released on blu ray, which is the likely scenario.
