Man dies after 3-day gaming binge

It really odd that the man dies by playing online game, big deal i played KOF for 4 days with my friends when my family was gone to other country for 2 weeks. I dent die, this news is a crap, after playing KOF my IQ level and my judgment become more faster, and now days US govement is training there solders on video game simulator so they can fight in war. If the game should kill a person then all of US solders should be dead, and you know how solders training are.

but you probably didnt play all those four days continously without sleeping for 3 nights did u now????

I bet he was playing wow.. i started playing the trial version.. and after like 5 days there came a time when i played 13 hours straight.. didnt know shit about the world and just sat in the same spot for continuous 13 hours i mean no water break no pee break.. and was jerked out of the game by my parents who told me to sleep in the mornin.. its extraordinarily addictive..

i have been addicted to WOW since it was in beta stage 3 years ago. i was a beta tester, then bought three accounts. have several 70s of different classes.

it is truly addictive. There have been days when i played the game for six straight days when i took off from work and barely got up to sleep for an hour or two. ordered food in and stuff

From a three page article that came in Readers Digest: Some studies have shown that these extended times spent on online games induce some sort of sicretion in the brain which leads to health and mental disprders eventaually resulting in death. Depending on the person's physical and mental health, some can be more harshly affected than others.

That being Said, i have personally reduced my own game time and am probably going to sell two of my three accounts very soon on EBay unless i find some one who wants to buy locally.

Yeah I agree, although I strategy games are not my favourite, but once I start one of them, like WOW or Rise of Nations....its difficult to get up.

I guess it has to do with the nature of strategy games.....you HAVE to spend time to get to know them better.....FPS games are more like...even if you dont want to play serioulsy...you can still have fun shooting around...lol
