^^from what i have read,MS is permanently banning xbox live accounts and not the consoles atm but yes it could change into the most severe form aka console banning...best to stay away frm live unless 100% sure its safe.

console ban and live ban is pretty much the same thing now, considering MS removed the HDD crippling thing with the USB update themselves, no HDD's get corrupted now ..

i said live ACCOUNT ban... and they are not the same thing.if u get ur account banned u can always make a new one and start a fresh from the same console.to some (like me )account banning is also pretty severe

dude if u have a moded xbox then i strongly suggest that you dont connect to live now,this is a really bad time with the halo:reach just about to be released in a couple of weeks,wait for a month atleast but then again,thats just my opinion but there is very high chance that u will get banned.

ban hammer time is about to start as most new games come out this season , halo reach , medal of honor etc .and then in nov spec ops new call of duty game .. its invetiable that no matter how many firmware we update ms is bound to ban the console - so avoid going on live coz if banned there is no way for a un ban and u have to spend more money to un criple the hard disk etc.

Salam. I used to play pirated games on xboxlive. Now i hav heard abt the Ban wave coming with Halo Reach. Now i am not playing live nowadays. So plz tel me tht while not going online with xbox360, will i get Banned or not? Waiting for reply. Thanks

^^^ well if ur not connected with live u wont get banned.

how can u get banned when ur not even connected to live?? xbox doesnt has software that recognizances pirated games without going on live and if it did i think getting banned means you cant play on xbox live,not the usual single player campaigns of games.
