I applied for Link Dsl about a week or so ago.Any ways i got me modem on Wednesdays,but my dsl line hasn't been clear yet so:crying: wat im sayn is tht is this standard stuff tht u first the modem and then after some days your phone line gets clear for dsl!!

^ yes, unfortunately this is how the DSL service works in pakistan

This is standard stuff.. i mean it took two weeks to upgrade my 256 to 512 (This was before the mass upgrade of connections, that ptcl started this march) and even tho its just a server task and should take a few minutes to complete.. my connection upgraded like 3 weeks later.. and similarly i got a sms 1.5 week back that congratualtions your connection has been upgraded to 1024kbps but it still hasnt ..
