Lg g4 pros and cons!

Hello, I'm buying used g4 for 20k but while searching I saw that that lg phones have boot loop problem that stuck on lg logo that seems like hardware problem!
So what's the suggestion is should I buy g4? Or any other phone under 25k not a single penny over that!

G4 is a good phone. Problems are only with defective pieces. Buy from a trusted place and you won't have any issues.

Yes there is issue in earlier batches, failure rate of series 505xx 506xx is very high and they die after 5-8 months use. Problem also exists in later but very few. If you can find G4 with manufacturing date of Oct 2015 or later, it would be good. But again its all your luck, any cell phone may have failure.

Anything after that and the chance of getting a faulty unit is very low. 21k for what model though?

If it's Sprint or Verizon, you're better off without it.

Only 2 things wrong with it is that it doesn't come with a fast charger, and fact if matter that isn't certified to dust or water. Other than that it a superb camera still do stay away from manual mode if u don't know how it works for just yet go slow with it, learn, explore, experience or u will end up with terrible photos and then instantly would start dissing the phone. The ram and chipset is alright 2 high power cores and still I get to blast through most of the usual apps some high end gaming, a custom ROM, few mods and emails, word, editing, excel sheets that doesn't really count really. All that on the basis of Pretty nice battery with a class of a leather back and a curved body.
Still do remember to get a g4 only where S/N number starts after 512xx and above, agreeing to the other members posted in this thread, is a big no no and always been a faulty device.
Other than that I hope the device serves you well, that it probably will do exactly so fine.

It is manufacturing fault and also acknowledged by LG. I myself use LG phoes and looking for a good G4 but was a bit disapointed with the issue with it. LG says it is hardware issue due to some lose connection in components, phone eventually dies after 5 to 8 months. However, it is almost resolved in later series which I am unable to find in used. Also note that there r no custom roms available except h811 model and specifice europen 815, not even for american 815 or asian 815T.

That's fine.
It supports local LTE as well.

As long as the serial number is higher than 508, it's fine.

A very wise choise. I don't know why they're selling so cheap, while these are beasts.

Pros :

- I found the screen clarity and sharpness better than Samsung S6 (LG have the best screens out there)
- Lag free operation. It's been with me for like almost 4 months now, not encountered a single lag
- BEST CAMERA hands down. Have compared it with iPhone 6, 6+, and alot more comparisons on YT aswell, this one takes the cake
- Budget friendly. Seeing you would buy one from a local market, NO PHONE right now in that mark (20-24k) comes close to this.
- QC 2.0 supported. I charge my phone from 20% to 80% in almost 40 mins.


Cons :

- None as of yet. Just buy a phone with S/N with 507 onwards. I haven't found any complaint on internet regarding bootloop with S/Ns starting later than that.

21k price is just irresistible for G4 but it has issues bootloop, screen ghosting, and lagging and poor battery. Still /i have to say its camera, audio quality and screen is just amazing no doubt plus leather back (I had light brown) is just fantastic to look and hold.
