[SOLVED] LG G3 flashing stock over custom rom

I have LG G3 F460K and it has cloudy 2 installed on it. I have found a Marshmallow custom ROm that i want to flash on the device. My question is do I use the Flash tool to do that with a Complete wipe or use the TWRP to flash it on ?
And will i lose the root by flashing using Flash tool ?

Dude you are already on Custom ROM ie 'Cloudy' so Just use TWRP and install the rom. No need to install using Flash tool.

Provided the ROM you are flashing includes the updated kernel, then yes.
Just wipe data, flash through TWRP and reboot.

If I install a custom rom using TWRP , it doesnt update the kernel ? Yes? So does that cause any problems? And shouldnt i have the latest kernel ?
Or
Should I be looking for Roms that have an updated kernel or provide files to flash it as well ?
