LCD auto brightness ???

i ust noticed , that some how during movies or games my pc is switching the brightness , i dont know how it got activated , but want to turn this feature off , n iv tried messing the th lcds menu , there is no option there for turning this feture off

n i cant find anything in the CCC ,, i have a Samsung p2270.

i had the colour profile of the lcd on contrast , tat was causing it

You probably have a preset image profile selected, like "Movie" mode or "Gaming" mode etc, which will switch the brightness/contrast/gamma on the fly according to the scene being displayed.


P.S: That monitor is so DAMN hawwt!!! 1080p !! Dayummm.
