so i have decided to buy this rig coz i am really tight on budget and cant find good used equipment here in peshawar and will order from galaxy , i want ur opinions on this, what can i expect from this rig??

processor : Intel Core i3 41604TH GEN. 3.5GHZ

MOBO : GIGABYTE GA-H81M-DS2

GPU : GIGABYTE R7 250

RAM : 4GB DDR 3 1600 MHZ

CASING AND CHASSIS : FROM MY OLD RIG..

Yes gigabyte is a tried and trusted brand. Mind you you can always get used equipment from good traders here on PG.

and what if i change the processor from i3 to dual core 4th gen, and increase the gpu along with 8gb ram would that make a difference???

Instead of i3, you can buy an i5. Even if it's outdated like the Sandy bridge or Ivy bridge.

Ram should be 8GB. At least 8gb. I upgraded today from 4GB to 8GB.

What is your overall budget?


Also do you want to buy parts in used or not?

Don't go for 250. 1gb ram is now outdated. R7 260x will be much better
Just as a reference, assassins creed unity, Witcher 3, new batman, all need more than 1gb

All need more than 2GB. @OP go for gtx 750 ti 4gb/2GB whichever falls in your budget and if you mention your budget you will get more suggestions

then go for it. But be readu to replace this card by next june. This generation may ask us minimum requirements well above the 2-3gb needs.

Hmmm, R7 250 is quiet a weak graphics card. Try looking for a powerful card but in used. That will not affect your budget.

In my honest opinion and as far as the benchmarks are concerned, i5 2nd generation or 3rd generation > i3 4th generation.

Also you'll get it cheaper.

Up to you, if you trust hardware in used.

But I'd suggest you get a strong processor so that even if you get a good card in future, your CPU don't bottleneck.

A CPU is the center of every PC, and it should be the best component.

Well i m not a hardcore gamer just a casual gamer, love fifa games.. n i think r7 250 will stack up against core i3.. n games in medium settings would be good enough for me

Actually these things are short here in peshawar too so i ordered it from galaxy.. was just concerned k baad mei pachtana na parey
